Product Description:
ASAP eSMART^TM allows IT administrators to view detailed hardware and software inventories by individual machine and user, department, business unit, location or any other criteria. They can also compare initial and current software and hardware configuration on each system to monitor changes.

Because of the tracking technology behind eSMART, it can also be used to locate lost or stolen systems. The hardware information collected by eSMART includes serial number, physical and logical disk size, remaining disk space, memory, CPU type, speed and manufacturer, motherboard and BIOS information, MAC address, location, user and much more.

Software information includes application type and name, publisher, version, language, .executable version, size and date, platform and whether each application is part of a suite or a stand-alone application. eSMART also provides software application and device counts throughout the enterprise.

The software license reconciliation, or Gap Analysis, report allows organizations to monitor software license compliance. Administrators can easily monitor which software applications are over or under licensed. The license tracking database behind the Gap Report meets SIIA record keeping requirements.

eSMART reports can be viewed online, downloaded or e-mailed. These include hardware, software, deployment readiness, performance and custom reports. The deployment readiness report shows which systems are or are not ready for the latest operating systems and applications.

Platforms Supported:
Windows 9x, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Macintosh (including OSX), Novell NetWare, Palm OS, Pocket PC, SNMP and Web-enabled devices.

Devices Tracked:
PCs, laptops, PDAs, servers, printers and attached peripherals.

Requirements:
ASAP eSMART requires no hardware or software investment.
