Our theme is Navigating "Next," and we seek presenters who can share successful strategies and tactics on what's coming next in the teaching and learning process in a post-PC world - including what ed tech companies can do to help build the infrastructure, products, and services to support the changes that schools want or need. The application is now closed. Any applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. We will be in contact with applicants by March 8 once final decisions have been made.
For those that have applied from 'inside the industry', priority placement will be given to:
- those who haven't spoken before at the Summit, particularly in recent years
- SIIA members who can share key industry information, including success stories and advice based on experience

Vice President, Sales and Operations, Nature Education Eric Cobbe is the VP of Sales and Operations for Nature Education, a division of Nature Publishing. Eric leads the sales and marketing effort of Nature Education’s Principles of Science affordable digital interactive textbook series. He is also responsible for the production and fulfillment of Principles of Biology, the first digital interactive textbook in the series. Since the official launch of Principles of Biology in January 2012, the sales team has secured adoptions at 150 academic institutions worldwide, saving over 18,000 students hundreds of dollars on their biology materials. Eric is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy and served as a Captain in the US Air Force. He also received a master of science in operations management from the University of Arkansas. Executive Director, The Joan Ganz Cooney Center Dr. Levine oversees the Center's efforts to catalyze and support research, innovation and investment in educational media technologies for young children. Prior to joining the Center, Dr. Levine served as Vice President of New Media and Executive Director of Education for Asia Society, managing the global nonprofit organization's interactive media and educational initiatives to promote knowledge and understanding of Asia and other world regions, languages and cultures. Previously, Dr. Levine oversaw Carnegie Corporation of New York's groundbreaking work in early childhood development, educational media and primary grades reform, and was a senior advisor to the New York City Schools Chancellor, where he directed dropout prevention, afterschool and early childhood initiatives. Project Officer Section for Teacher Development and Education Policies, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Mark West joined UNESCO's mobile learning team when it was first created. He and Steven Vosloo authored the UNESCO Policy Guidelines on Mobile Learning and oversaw and edited the Organization's 14 paper Series on Mobile Learning. Mr. West wrote two Global Themes papers for the Series which analyzed mobile learning trends from an international perspective. He has been actively involved in the country projects in Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Senegal and has contributed to the mobile learning work focused on gender. Prior to joining UNESCO, Mr. West worked as a Fulbright fellow in Azerbaijan where he researched education and helped a large university establish an online course management system. Mr. West is a graduate of Stanford University and holds MA degrees in Education and Composition.
