Program | New This Year | Steering Committee
The Program
Three session tracks will give you a choice of sessions so you can learn about what's most important to you and your business. Keynote speakers will frame the big picture of innovation and provide the details necessary to help your business grow.
Business & Finance sessions will examine the different approaches to innovation: acquisition, efficiency, maintenance, leadership, and valuation.
Sales & Marketing sessions will focus on trends that influence customer purchasing and your business, the effects of an election year on how and what you sell, and the impact of Web 2.0 on your company.
Technical & Development sessions will consider open content and technologies, digital classrooms, digital assets, and competing and cooperating in the digital world.
New This Year
Pre-conference Workshops will take place prior to the official opening of the Summit and will be an ideal forum for you to identify your business needs and apply actionable market intelligence. Please note that you need to indicate which workshop you plan to attend when you register.
Business Profiles will let attendees preview companies and technologies new to the education space. Presenting companies will be the Innovation Incubator participants and will introduce their company and product to conference attendees.
Innovation Incubator program will highlight some of our industry's newest companies and products. Based on the successful program at the Ed Tech Business Forum, this program will use the Innovation Incubator Showcase and Welcome Reception and the Business Profiles session to provide company overviews and more in depth insights into who they are and how they're innovative.
The Profiles in Innovation session will feature successful partnerships between Texas Instruments and SRI International and between Tom Snyder Productions and Vanderbilt University. These for-profit/non-profit partnerships have resulted in many successful innovations and this session will explore these two success stories.
The Funding in Innovation session will present a few of the education foundations who are funding various forms of innovation. You'll learn how and why they chose the particular innovations, their results, and how your company benefits.
The CODiE Finalists Showcase & Networking Reception will give attendees time to explore the products/services that have made it to the final round of the CODiE Awards. Many companies who will exhibit include:
