The Innovation Incubator program promotes innovative developers of education technology products or services.
Developers in non-profit organizations or young companies will be featured in the Innovation Showcase & Welcome Reception on Sunday night, May 18 and again at the Business Profiles Session on Tuesday afternoon, May 20.
For the Ed Tech Industry Summit, many of the applicants came from non-profit institutions or from young companies. Applications were reviewed by SIIA's Innovation Working Group and the Summit's Steering Committee, then selected to participate in the Ed Tech Industry Summit.
The Innovation program is partially funded by the Summit's Innovation Incubator Sponsors: Academic Business Advisors, Flatworld/Education 2000, Intel, Spectrum K12, and VIP Tone.

Go-Joe Reader is an interactive web-based reading activity for grades K-6. The Program allows every student in a school district to contribute "food" (the number of minutes they read which are converted into miles) to propel Go-Joe, an animated elephant, on a virtual journey around the world. Each student in the district contributes to the districts' overall reading goal by "reading to feed Go-Joe." Students can compare their personal data, their grade and their school with all others in their district.
