Networking Opportunities
The SIIA Ed Tech Government Forum provides a unique opportunity for SIIA members to connect with education leaders, as well as with each other.

Washington Education Technology Policy Summit (jointly with CoSN/ISTE/SETDA): A portion of the Forum program will be held in conjunction with the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA). Some 100 education leaders are expected to participate.
- Congressional Advocacy Visits: For those interested, SIIA members can particiapte in group meetings with key Congressional offices to advocate for federal education technology support. Groups will include CoSN, ISTE and SETDA member educators as well as SIIA members, and meetings will be pre-arranged for you.
- Reception: The 2011 Forum will once again include a networking reception, providing SIIA members with a casual setting to connect with education leades from around the country, as well as DC-based policy influencers and policy makers from a variety of national education organizations.
